Working as a solicitor in the Commercial Department in London means I never have the same day twice.

One day I can be acting for a Landlord or Tenant granting, taking or assigning a commercial lease which involves drafting documents or liaising with clients on amendments so that they are kept up to date and ensuring their commercial interests are protected.

Another day I can be involved in multi-million pound commercial refinancing including the transfer of property portfolios from partnerships into companies.

I am also involved in helping business with drafting their Terms and Conditions together with other bespoke commercial documents, Asset and Share Sales, Shareholders Agreements and many other commercial related matters.

Manager or Supervisor: Nick Attwell

I completed my Undergraduate studies at the University of Portsmouth where I obtained a 2.1 in Law with Business.

I then completed my LPC at the University of Law (Guildford) where I also completed my Master in International Legal Practice.

My first legal role was as a paralegal for a small firm in North London working closely with the principal solicitor. Here I developed my foundation knowledge in conveyancing, commercial property, commercial and dealing with high net worth individuals’ needs including private client work.

In 2017, I moved to Attwells Solicitors as a Trainee Solicitor where I have predominantly work in the Commercial Department but with experience in Litigation and Conveyancing.

I will be qualifying into the Commercial Department as a qualified solicitor in November 2019.

Hobbies and interests:

I enjoy travelling to new countries to experience their cultures and more importantly to try their food. Japan has been my highlight so far as it is just so different from everywhere else I have been.

On my travels I have taken up amateur photography but you won’t find me displaying in a gallery anytime soon.

When I am not trying new food, I am always happy to be in the kitchen cooking something up and I am now very proud of my pizza dough recipe I have developed.
