Planning and Enforcement Manager

I qualified as a planner in New Zealand in 1997 and moved to the UK in 2001. In 2003 I obtained chartered membership to the RTPI.

I spent 20 years as a local authority planner, with much of that time spent as manager of a development management team, where I managed a team of planners and an enforcement officer, providing planning guidance to colleagues, developers and members of the public. I dealt with a wide range of planning applications and appeals, including enforcement appeals. I regularly attended committee as lead officer to advise members and present applications.

I now manages Attwells' Planning & Enforcement team. I provide planning and enforcement advice to Attwells' private clients as well as local authority clients and delivers a variety of training courses to Attwells' local authority clients.
