Fiona qualified as a planner in New Zealand in 1997 and moved to the UK in 2001. She obtained chartered membership to the RTPI in 2003.
Fiona spent 20 years as a local authority planner, with much of that time spent as manager of a development management team, where she managed a team of planners and an enforcement officer, providing planning guidance to colleagues, developers and members of the public. Fiona dealt with a wide range of planning applications and appeals, including enforcement appeals. She regularly attended committee as lead officer to advise members and present applications.
Fiona now manages Attwells' Planning & Enforcement team. She provides planning and enforcement advice to Attwells' private clients as well as local authority clients and delivers a variety of training courses to Attwells' local authority clients.
