With the ‘Roadmap’ out of lockdown now in full swing, we look forward to welcoming clients back to our offices with effect from 21st June. Following the successful implementation of our ‘COVID secure’ workplace measures, the vast majority of our staff have now returned to the office and are working hard to deliver an excellent service to all of our clients.
However, at the current time all of our offices are generally closed to the public.
If you need an appointment with a lawyer, please contact us and we can arrange this for you either over the phone or via video conferencing, in the first instance. Face to face meetings are only possible under limited circumstances, where necessary and subject to strict safety protocols.
Paperwork may be dropped off by hand at any one of our offices although all post and deliveries are being redirected to our Ipswich office.
Attwells’ offices in Ipswich, Colchester and London are open and fully staffed with our staff working in a COVID-secure environment. We are however operating a closed-door policy at this time, subject to further review on 21st June 2021.
Contacting Your Lawyer
Our reception is fully manned and you will be able to telephone on our respective main office numbers. If you know who it is you wish to speak with, you are invited to contact your lawyer on their direct dial or send them an e-mail. This information can be found via our people page or on any previous correspondence you have received from them.
Offices & Post
Our Ipswich, Colchester and London Offices are now closed to the public generally. However, clients attending these offices for the signing of important documents such as Wills can attend but we ask that they make a prior appointment and to ring the bell at the office. Disabled access is available but please request this in advance so that we can ensure that the necessary arrangements are put in place for you prior to your arrival. Post can still be dropped off to these offices through the letterboxes available.
Please be advised that all Royal Mail delivered post is being re-directed to our Ipswich Office.
We encourage all meetings to be held via telephone, Zoom or any other form of video conferencing service wherever possible.
For those clients where a physical meeting remains necessary, we can arrange to see you by appointment at any of our offices. Please contact your lawyer in advance to arrange an appointment.

If you or your business needs support or advice on any legal matter at this time, Attwells remain committed to having a chat without charge to help share our knowledge, expertise and to provide support at this uncertain time.
