Wills and Intestacy
Losing a loved one is a difficult time for friends and family.
There are lots of things you need to attend to whilst dealing with your grief. It is often therefore helpful if you have some instructions from your loved one as to what they want to happen. This could be in respect of funeral wishes, who should look after their children and who will inherit from their estate.
If you want to set out your wishes you need to make a Will. To read more about why and how you can make your Will click here.
If there is no Will, the government’s rules of intestacy apply and dictate who will inherit. To read more on the rules of intestacy, click here.
