Attwells Solicitors recognises that it exists as part of the Ipswich community and plays an active part in making a contribution to Ipswich life and its environment more generally.
Attwells sponsors local sports teams and events. Attwells provides work experience and advice to the local schools and universities. Nick Attwell is a trustee of a local children’s charity – the Mix.
Attwells general buying policy is to buy local wherever possible. Within its environment Attwells is a “green” Solicitor recycling paper and re-utilising office equipment wherever possible, encouraging paperless working, turning off lights and electrical devices when not required and encouraging the team to use car-sharing and public transport wherever possible.
Attwells lawyers are also expected to play a role in the community through the giving of their advice at no charge to local Citizen Advice Bureaus, Age Concern and smaller local advice centres and getting involved in Wills Week, National pro-bono week and other national led programs.
"At these times access to legal advice is scarce but disputes are on the rise. Understanding your legal rights is essential. Attwells believes it has a duty to support its community. Attwells believes that a client should not be charged to understand a legal matter. Attwells is committed to providing this advice at no charge to its Ipswich community."
