Two months ago Attwells set up and successfully registered at Companies House a new Luxury company. The Company then expended significant money in branding and other marketing costs relating to the new name.

This month the Company received a direction from the Secretary of State that this Company name would need to be changed in order to avoid confusion with an unrelated company already registered at Companies House.

Nick Attwell appealed this direction by the Secretary of State and this month successfully overturned the Secretary of State’s decision enabling the Luxury company to maintain its Companies House registration thereby maintaining the Group’s brand and saving the significant marketing spend that had already been incurred by the Company.
